Anyways after all that, I just picked one up. Also picked up the 760H from Costco for $400 yesterday before this deal was posted. Going to mess with them side by side. Other than the power difference, I need to see if one handles zone b patio speakers better.
I believe both of these models are discontinued. I was waiting on a X1800H but they never released one.

Edit: fantastic deal. But I need to get a new TV first (so that receiver is within return period when I connect it to the TV, or some receivers have trouble with hi-def signals when connected to certain devices so the only way to know is to buy TV first).
Is 90w per channel adequate? My speakers are 6w (OMD15 + OMD5) so this will be more like 120w. My old yamaha is 90w as well only because I got the cheapest I could find. This time I figured have to get the "proper" one, maybe with more wattage, but I suspect 90w is still OK.
