The whole thing was so out of touch and made me feel old because it was my first legitimate "kids these days" moments.
You're right, that's not normal. For most of human existence until modern times, normal was working dawn to dusk every single day just to survive and that work started when you were like 10 years old. That was pretty much the entire point of having children. Oh boo hoo, you get to be a child for 21 years or longer and then have to work for a living, most likely in an air conditioned space, while other people do back breaking manual labor work to put food in grocery stores so you can do whatever you want most nights and weekends. Literal dystopian hellscape.

On topic, GrubHub is an easy way to overpay for lukewarm food.
But the offer page said it's a year, plus another if I sign up by July 5. What gives?
