recommend not purchasing. first laptop received had problems, and both replacements had problems. finally, gave up and got a refund.

Got the non refurbished version of this laptop few weeks ago. It's a pretty decent laptop at this price point in my opinion

I can't speak to the quality of this one... But the dell refurbs deal bouncing around the last few weeks was essentially the same thing but a 2in1 with touch screen and backlit keyboard.

Just got mine today and went through the setups. Everything seemed pretty good until I realized that there's no sound no matter what I do in the settings. I guess I'll be returning it.

Bought a refurb of these from Walmart in January 2022. Performance wise, I think it's pretty strong for the price. Quality isn't terrible, but this is far from a road warrior. I did tend to carry this around with me on trips and eventually the double sided tape held the LCD to the chassis failed. I ended up taking it apart to epoxy the lcd back which worked. But when I reassembled, even though I unplugged the battery as soon as I got it opened, it acts as though the battery failed - it's plugged in and fully charged, but as soon as I unplug it, it shuts off due to dead battery 🤷

You'll have better luck with $130 A grade refurbish Dell Laptop with Intel 8th Gen. 10x better tank build quality and half the weight.

These Gateway are like Walmarts cheap Schwinn bikes, it will do fine indoors. I own both.
