Small but still designed to look like a gas car with too much high blocky hood length and almost no frunk utilization.
Polestar and Volvo could step away from traditional gas car design language. For this car you have a pointless for function long hood. You suffer inside because of that misplaced priority with the unnecessary limitation of back seat legroom and less wheelbase. An MG4 is the car to compare for current design of an ev. Good rear legroom. It's got a 2705mm wheelbase vs. 2650mm for this Volvo. 2 inches right there. 4287mm length vs. 4233mm for the EX30. The difference shows in the back door dimension.

Still not too late to cancel your Model 3 order if you FOMO'd into that. This Volvo is worth the wait and wipes the floor of Tesla for less money with much better quality.

This was an initial concern when I got my Tesla, but....there's controls on the steering wheel for things like cruise speed, stereo controls, text/phone controls, and voice command prompt....(in fact a recent SW update added more ability to customize what those things control)- and physical stalks for gear and turn signals and even a button for a wiper squirt.

What else is it you feel you need physical buttons for?
Agreed I voice control heat/cool, seat temp, wipers, trunk, Frunk and glove box no buttons needed or knobs it is all on the screen. "I'm cold, my passenger is hot, all heated seats on, dog mode, it is raining, wipers on high, wipers off, open frunk, open glovebox" why don't all cars have this?

Ownership of the factory's namesake rarely is reflection of the auto brand though.

Heck, for a while Chrysler used to own Lamborghini.

Tata of India owns Jaguar and Land Rover and my understanding is their reliability has gotten much better after the ownership change.

Volvo is made in many different countries throughout the world and I believe they are opening factory in US so maybe this one will be made in US.

Chinese manufacturing tech is VERY advanced. Only issue is that people are not willing to pay for quality out of Chinese factories most of the time. (Tesla/Apple/etc.) Pretty much only reason Chinese are not selling their cars in US is probably due to dealership and service network issues, (more of logistical issues) maybe utilizing existing dealerships by buying up the existing company may be a way to do it? (Like Volvo) I don't know.
Ford tried to import a car from China a few years ago. No one wanted that junk. Yes, Volvo is made in multiple countries. However, this particular car is already released with a different Chinese brand. The Volvo brand is basically just a sticker they put on the original Chinese design. This is 100% a Chinese imported car.

Personal experience of living in Wisconsin for 27 years before we moved to AZ. Even Ace hardware offers steep discounts. They don't want them on their inventory for another year when new models might come-out. I am pretty sure that they have an agreement with the manufacturers.

Source? I've never seen these mythical lawnmower and snowblowers clearance here in Maine. Unless you are talking about buying used?

Has it occurred to you not everyone in this country speak with a perfect American accent and so could it possibly be that for some people, voice recognition isn't a viable option? I don't have an issue with it, but I know plenty of people who have issues.

Again, people, please think outside your own box. The world does not revolve around you.

As I said in my other post, I do agree with Knightshade that the steering wheel control is fantastic on my Model S and very underrated by non-Tesla drivers.

They keep some of these features exclusive to the luxury car segment to justify the price tag. Either you pay 3 times as much "for the so called luxury badge" or you are not getting that feature.

Here is a 40 minute promo video they sent me after I put down the deposit. It is a cool video and if you are planning on ordering, you may want to watch it. Otherwise just watch the beginning.

I got tired of waiting and bought a Tesla MY after price drop. So far so good minus the build quality hassle

That doesn't look like a Volvo. Volvos are box 📦 shaped.

Model 3 sedan will definitely have less room than this SUV. It also has way better performance figures than the Tesla. It'll also last much longer seeing that it's a higher quality vehicle.
Nah, back seat leg room is very limited.
