Get your new phone up and running first. Look for any issues for a week.
Do a factory reset on your old phone. take a picture of the screen with your new phone to show no issues of front and back while on. In case Samsung employee tries to pull a fast one on you.
Turn your old phone off and wrap it up. You can dop off at any Fedex drop off location or find a Dollar General store. They will scan the package and send a receipt notice via text to your phone. Samsung will receive a couple business days later and let you know they receive. Few more days until they get a chance to review and ok the trade-in.

$250 is OK deal; my last phone lasted me 4 yrs, so 1.2K MSRP annualized over 4 yrs would be $300 per year. However, I don't really consider S23U at 1.2K as it's 1K on Amazon right now ($250 annualized), less if you buy on Swappa etc.

Trade in was S22 Ultra
I figure with new battery, new warranty, new screen without scratches - it's okay. The CA taxes on it is ridiculous ($100+ on taxes).
Am in Cali. I dont want to get taxes up the you know what.
