Thanks to Deal Hunter SehoneyDP for finding this deal.
Engage is a regular fire emblem game, and feels very similar to other games released prior to 3H. You want it to be Three Houses, but it isn't. You will start playing it but automatically feel the difference. Hard to describe. It has large shoes to fill, and tries to with a complicated buff system with the "rings", but it is a letdown that quite honestly was doomed to receive.
Three Houses is the best game in the FE series. Engage is just "normal", which makes it feels WORSE when it gets released after Three Houses.

Yea with the ring system I felt they are just doing money grab like how mobile game works nowadays.
I've been playing FE since GBA/gamecube era and this is the first game I still didn't own yet(I may eventually buy it with a big sale. FF16 is coming I know I won't have time for this for a long while, maybe hold it til BF)
Now I need to find a deal on extra controllers. Anyone recommend knockoff controllers as Nintendo Joy cons are $$$??
Look into the 8bitdo controllers. It supports switch/ios/android/pc and you can remote xbox with pc/abdroid/ios so it's pretty universal(I have not done remote play on ps5 so not sure if it works). And there's back paddle model too to save your thumb(you can map the button on the fly/profile settings etc). I enjoy it so much while playing games with heavy story(RPG etc) with one hand control. Their wired starts at around only $20 and wireless for $3-40

yea i'd only buy if you are thinking to yourself "i kinda wanna play FE now". this will go down in price.
it remains to be seen if the expansion pass is worth it, but as of right now, i'd probably say no

Well, that all depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking for a Joycon replacement that connects to the device? If so I'd go for either the Hori Split Pad (Compact or Pro are both good) or the Binbok controllers that are popular amongst various YouTubers.
If you want a controller that's more like a traditional controller, well it all depends on your budget. Nintendo's own Pro Controller is $70 and is great but a bit overpriced IMO.
The Cadillac of Switch Controllers would be the 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth controller. It's currently "on sale" on Amazon for $64.40.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9BDMWWN. The only thing missing is Amiibo support. In fact, all third party controllers lack Amiibo support. This is a non-issue to me as Amiibo aren't a big deal.
If you don't mind a Playstation 2-4 style controller then the 8Bitdo Pro 2 controller might be up your alley. Open box ones show up on Amazon Warehouse for around $40 from time to time.https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-Blu...08XY8H9D5/
Going down a bit and the cheapest option I'd personally recommend would be either the PDP or PowerA wired options. They often go for as little as $12 and both are part of this Woot Deal for $15 each.
Hopefully everyone understands 3 Hopes is a Warriors-type game, this is not traditional FE. These games usually get discounted as they aren't as popular.
