i see both are same.
They do look similar. You can find the Dock here [amazon.com] on Amazon and if you select this [amazon.com], you can see the Dock & Speaker side by side.

It does do that "Connect up to two monitors with HDMI and USB-C connections" along with having other functions, per the Microsoft product page [microsoft.com]
From microsoft, the qualify will be sturdy.
This device is a good fit for a meeting room TV as it includes a microphone and supports screen mirroring from a laptop. Perfect for video conferencing and presentations.
The USB port also allows for the connection of a mouse or keyboard.
