Hello there, When I posted this deal earlier today it was on sale for $30.11, since then I noticed it had a slight price drop and I adjusted OP to reflect the now $29.97 price. Hope that helps. Happy Shopping
Does the weight goes up and down too much to be comfortable for running?
Don't run with added weights. Furthermore, and especially if you're overweight, get a low impact cardio machine like a rower. Diet to lose weight, cardio to improve your V02/ vascular health and weightraining to increase strength and flexibility.
For anyone thinking "Why not just use a backpack?" I'll share a quick experience. It was raining and I didn't want to ride my motorcycle to the gym, so I figured id throw some weights in a backpack and do some pull ups and push ups. Pull ups went great. Push ups on the other hand... When I leaned forward from all fours to get into position, the weights all slid forward and hit me in the back of the head. Mild concussion and almost enough to lose consciousness. 0/10 would not recommend.
so just wear a backback with books like you did in elementary school. why waste money on this.
if you want front and back you wear 2 back packs...
how is this useful? people seem spoiled today because they never needed to do what people needed to do for practical reasons before so now they need to waste money on useless things to make them work out because they weaker now...

"Diet to lose weight, cardio to improve your V02/ vascular health and weightraining to increase strength and flexibility" is probably the most accurate and wisest sentence I've ever seen in a SlickDeals comment.
Far too many people incorrectly assume exercise (especially cardio) is the key to weight loss, and because cardio is unpleasant for most people, they just stay overweight. I've dropped about 15 pounds in the past 6 months mostly through diet (restricted calories and increased protein). I do lift but only to maintain muscle mass. I elliptical MAYBE once a week.

I was hiking a trail one time and this girl was just carrying a rock ... seems cheaper than $30
I've always thought rocks were the best solution for hiking. Get a backpack that rides comfortably, throw a few rocks in at the bottom of the trail, hike up, then ditch the Rock at the top before you head back down. No sense in carrying extra weight down as is already hard on your knees... But have that extra weight on the way up... Never done it myself but there are a group of hikers at my local trail that do this and have built up quite a pile on the top.
