seems like a decent price, double pack listing has surprisingly good reviews on amazon!
thanks, been wanting to try a mat like this for years but wasn't into the 500$ price tag/more rigid storage of the foam ones.

I bought this last season for boating. It's a good alternative to those $500 roll out mats that are quite popular. This takes approx 10 mins to inflate by mouth and you can link a bunch together. The material is good quality and puncture resistant.
Thinking I might get a second one now.

I somehow doubt that this thing will hold a cooler full of ice and drinks as shown in the 2nd pic. Seems like quite a bit of weight concentrated in one area.

Are you using it on a lake? I've been considering one of the more expensive vinyl inflatable platforms for the boat and this is a lot cheaper, but those will actually be rigid and allow you to stand on them (making it easier to get on and off in some current). Can't imagine this would hold up if the water's moving at all.

Missed a SD for this years ago and figured I would just put it in saved for later and wait it out. Since sold the house with pool and now it's back. Good stuff.

This is more like those foam mats that are half in and half out of the water where it just kind of holds you up near the surface while you lay on it. If you sit or stand on one of these you're gonna get WET.

Those drop-stitched high pressure platforms you're talking about are made out of the same material as paddle boards and are MUCH stronger and will actually keep you dry.
