Yes they do. I have these with my gen 1 base station. Besides windows, I have mine connected to my garage doors as well. The bigger piece (with battery) is stuck to the side of the rail and the smaller piece (magnet) is stuck to the side of the garage door. Make sure they don't hit anything when opening or closing the doors. I did have to buy the contact sensor risers for them so they will work properly (sensor and magnet were too far apart), but now I can tell when my garage doors are opened or closed which was a huge convenience for me. Plus it's connected to the base station, so if anything happens in the middle of the night the alarm with go off. I've had them for over a year and not one issue so far. I know you didn't ask for all the extra info, but I'd figure I'd share in case someone was interested is what else they can do with them.
