In previous offers, they waived the $95 fee the first year. This isn't worth it for the high spend amount. I got mine about 5 years ago with the fee waived, and 75,000 points. Trying to get it downgraded to the free version was an ordeal and fortunately, they record calls so they reviewed those and I ended up getting a refund of the $95 they charged me in advance of the second year. With 100,000 points, that's only $500 in cash, and with the $95, it's $405. Not a great deal at all unless you use the card to book travel. Purchases are usually declined in the foreign country. Mine is and has never been accepted in Mexico, Belize, or anywhere in Europe. Capital One always blames it on the vendor. Funny, they take my Citi Costco Visa (with no foreign transaction fee) everywhere.

Thanks OP. Approved instantly.They give pretty good credit limits. Over $50k limit. APR stinks tho 20.74%!

You should be able to get 75k on CSP minimum. Make a social media post asking friends for a referral link and should bump you to 75k.

For anyone going for the bonus, keep in mind that the clock starts as soon as your application is approved. I signed up for one of these last year and it took nearly 3 weeks before my card arrived. I met the spend limit within 2.5 months after that, but was denied the bonus because they started the clock 3 weeks before I even had my card in hand, so I missed it by a few hundred dollars since my last few purchases didn't count.

That's not true, person referring gets 15k but the person referred full gets 60k.

Never had a problem with purchases with my card in Europe. One of the perks is no foreign transaction fees, not sure why you had any issues.
