Yes, in the old days. But not any more. Instead, just buy a $1 BYOP sim for another device and activate/transfer balance. I have done it perhaps 20 times.

From personal experience. You don't need to transfer physical SIM card. Just call the customer service and ask to transfer the data/minutes/texts to any TracFone active number. 5 min call

I wish Samsung or Motorola released flip phones still instead of these Orbics.

Somehow they manage to run slower than my old non smartphones from major brands.

Too bad trac phone sold out to Verizon. I just found out after getting a Samsung for qvc. So I put the phone in airplane mode and use it for a ER phone .

How anyone recently ported in a number to TracFone recently? I'm hoping to port in a google voice number without having to spend a lot of time with their awesome customer service folks.

Just ordered to harvest the minutes. Funny thing is in the description it doesn't say 1,200 minutes, etc. for each phone. Based on other deals would have to think that amount of minutes, etc., are for each phone. The description mentions two of each several times but no mention of the two buckets of service. Anybody active these yet? FYI, says danger of selling out on the page.

The responses to the first FAQ on the product page also indicate that each phone comes with its own bucket of 1,200 minutes etc.
