Also, I don't know how Valve gets away with calling this the VALVE COMPLETE PACK when it's missing HL Alyx and potentially more. Still, an unbeatable deal for several games with insane replay value. I still play CS from 1999.

Well the new Source Engine only has two games under its belt right now. They usually put out at least 4, not including remakes.
I can definitely tell you that not buying this won't increase measured interest in their games.
Regardless, they're the largest facilitator of a decent online game marketplace. If resting on their laurels means Epic doesn't create a monopoly, that's fine by me.
If you like competitive and wanna get away from the lower tier griefing then you can play pugs using 2 websites, either ceda or center, you can dm me if you want them.
Community might be a bit toxic or stupid, but that's most games.

This seems like a good deal but I think I already own all these. Might have to look, not sure I own "The Lab"
Edit: I didn't own The Lab, it is however free. Still probably an amazing deal for people who don't own these games or want to have extra copies.

Like I said, I bought it around 2011 (actually January 2012, I checked). Valve has steadily added games to the pack throughout its history as they were released (L4D2, Portal 2, CSGO, Dota 2, etc.). There's always been a lag between a retail-price new release and subsequent inclusion in the discounted Complete Pack, but HLA is now more than 3 years old and I think it's time Valve got a move on.
Regardless, I'll reiterate my comment that this pack for this price is the steal of the century for anybody who still hasn't taken the dive. There are at least 8-9 games here with very active multiplayer and modding communities. I still make maps for CS1.6 as do hundreds or even thousands of other people. And then there's all the single-player content which needs no introduction.
Great game with superb graphics, redeem keys on your Steam acct.

Would love to have them with newest graphics in 4K.
