If you are new to ordering from Eufy, I have had no issues with my experience, other than they like to play games with these promo codes like everyone else. That said, my advice is to mix and match and experiment with different codes to see what nets you the biggest discount on the product mix you are looking for. Usually it will be found in the larger bundles, but you may be surprised that sometimes buying things piecemeal nets a lower overall price if you can take advantage of multiple promo codes - bear in mind for these, Eufy only allows 1 code per order, but it is free shipping. So just use one code, checkout, use the second code, and checkout a second time.
Below are 4 potential deal options I am considering for my own needs. I have had Eufy products but am currently building a new system from scratch, which is why I need the homebase. I was going to jump on the first option, which seems like a great deal on the newest video doorbell (which can be hardwired or battery for flexibility) plus a Homebase 2... but then I saw for just another $86 I can have the Homebase 3. I think it may be worth it, but if anyone had real-world experience with the Homebase 3 and wants to chime in, please do.

Yes. It's exactly like those amazon listings of chinese drop-shipped items with false claims like 9-h hardness screen protector or OEM blah blah. There's no meangingful reputation associated with the product, but if the product is still good for your purposes then you should get as long as you're mindful of the deceptive marketing.

Not sure if that's why they advertise features that they will never include or their incompetent handling of what occured (this issue and the time where every camera was freely available to anyone).

I'm guessing marketing people (likely correctly) presumed that typical consumers don't even know how this stuff works, so they opted for a too-simple message. But the company has paid dearly for that decision. Meanwhile, people keep buying Ring in droves along with all the much more serious privacy problems (including giving away 4th Amendment rights) and phoning home to Bezosland that entails.

eufy was always more secure. And, hopefully, learned their lesson.
The bottom line: eufy is a much more privately-controlled and secure system. Please provide proof of Anker / eufy broadly shilling anything...
I registered for a (free) Amazon business account today - my account was nearly instantly approved and I placed the order. Will update if I have any issues with the order/account.
