I posted this in another thread, thought i'd post it in here too for anyone thinking of buying.

Just a heads up, starting Tuesday, AMD is going to bundle Starfield Premium key with these graphics cards ($99.99 value). Don't know if prices on these will increase or stay the same.

Full list of AMD Radeon cards getting the $99.99 Starfield Premium :-

7900 XTX and XT
6900 XT & 6950 XT
6800 & 6800 XT
6700 & 6700 XT

The cheaper 7600/6600/6650 will be getting the standard edition of the game ($69.99)

On another note, AMD CPU's will also be getting the game key as well. Starfield Premium will be bundled with the following :-

Ryzen 9 7950X3D
Ryzen 9 7950X
Ryzen 9 7900X3D
Ryzen 9 7900X
Ryzen 9 7900

and the Starfield Standard edition will be with the following :-

Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Ryzen 7 7700X
Ryzen 7 7700
Ryzen 5 7600X
Ryzen 5 7600

The game will release on 09/06 though.

EDIT - Editing post to correct the day from Monday to Tuesday. As per AMD Website :-

Discover Starfield, Bethesda Game Studios' next-gen role-playing game, when you buy select AMD Radeon graphics cards.

Promotional Dates: July 11 – Sept. 30, 2023
Redemption Period: July 11 – Oct. 28, 2023
The 7900xt is absolutely not worth it if you already have a 6950xt.

No point in upgrading until next gen for you, unless you have tons of cash and want a 4090.
Thanks for saving me money.

Insane amount of power for the money. The cheapest 6950XT is the MERC319 that's currently $580 if you're on a limited budget.

Put up a quick list for folks to take a peep of what to expect. You can swap out the 7600 for even more powerful 7700/X or 7800X3D for gaming or a 7900/X that's been floating around for $350 if you need them cores. And a 2TB 980 Pro for $100 is amazing.

I built a very similarly cost computer two weeks ago.

i7 12700K + MSI Tomahawk - $350
Liquid Freezer II - $100
32 GB Corsair DDR5 5600 Ram - $100
Lian Li 216 - $100
Corsair RM1000e 1000W PSU - $160
2 TB Samsung Pro - $120
XFX 6950 - $567

I'm wondering if the upgrade to the 7900xt is worthwhile?

Playing D4 but prepping to get mad deep into Starfield once it launches.
