Hmmm…if you're referring to the Daytona, gonna have to call BS on that one. It was never $50.

I own both - a 3-ton "heavy duty/low profile" rapid pump Pittsburg and the top of line Daytona Super Duty. Both are great jacks - the Pittsburg I have had for years and recently had to add some hydraulic fluid else has been Maintenace free. Depending on your budgets and high/low requirements either jack would be fine as would the other Daytona jacks - in general HF makes pretty decent jacks.
Thanks. It has to be an aluminum jack for my needs as we live in a walkup apartment with no ground level storage so weight is an important consideration, and I don't really need more than a 2 ton for our vehicles as we only have cars, no SUVs or trucks. But it will definitely be either the Pittsburgh or Daytona leaning heavily towards the latter based on multiple recs I've gotten from people. Plus it looks kind of nicer.

Been eyeing a 2 ton aluminum floor jack and trying to decide between the Pittsburgh and Daytona. The Pittsburgh is normally $185 but currently $160 if you're a member. But if you are a member do you get the additional 15% off to bring it down to $136? I've been leaning towards the Daytona but at $136 it's a steal. Yeah, I know, it's $30 to join, so it would effectively be $166, which is the sale price for non-members. But then I'd be able to take advantage of member sales for a year. At worst it's a break-even proposition.

Also does anyone have experience with either jack?
I have the 1.5T Aluminum Pittsburgh and the 3T top of the line Daytona. Night and day difference. I use both, often at the same time, as I lift the vehicles and stabilize with Daytona, but if I want to lift a wheel or component, then the 1.5T weighs possibly 5x less. As I do my own oil changes, I use the 3T Daytona a lot. I have also lifted part of a filled shed with the 1.5T Pittsburgh, completely abusing it, but I kept it level and amazingly nothing happened to it. Look at the distance that it can reach and whether you have to carry it, like if you store it far away from where you use it. If you have SUV or truck you probably will need the Daytona.

The Daytona is safer, wider stance and wheels. The biggest price to pay is the weight, but if you are young probably a better investment to go with the Daytona as decision will age better.

Sorry I meant $50 OFF. So $239 total, which was cheaper than the 15% off with ITC discount now. (Only about $7 difference though)

Popped my 25% off on it today. Got 60 off. Happy with it.
