This deal happens pretty often, and imo the most dramatic top is buying a butcher block from Home Depot and adding it to the top.

Hmmm, I just bought the Monoprice v2 from Target for $160, but now I'm wondering if I should return it and get this since it has a higher weight rating (my desktop is 72"x36" and I have 3 monitors plus the computer tower and a fairly heavy UPS that will both be mounted to the underside) and a 5 year warranty vs the 1 year from Monoprice.

I was lucky enough to catch the 55x28 dual motor with maple top (chipboard) for $235 last week, but this isn't bad!

This is only the base so you need to supply a desk top and add whatever you want

Would these work with a dual monitor clamp as well? Trying to conserve as much surface space as possible!

I don't see why not. As long you're not wobbling the table too much or something crazy. Otherwise get the topless one and add your own stronger top.

For dual monitor clamp, definitely invest in a sturdy top and not particleboard.

I am liking the monoprice. Very smooth. I have a home depot 6 feet butcher block with two monitors and a laptop and it works pretty good.

The monoprice one is also pretty quiet. I was also tempted but I have thrown the box away.
