Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
I think exactly the opposite way. Wait for a smoking deal on a TV, then replace it every 2-3 years while still getting back the majority of original price selling off the old TV. No way I could keep a TV for a decade just because I overpaid for the best at the time. TV tech advances far too quickly to be stuck with something for that long.
UPDATE: I get there and it's bubble wrapped and missing the legs and they tried to give me a TCL remote from another model. I'm like how does this even get marked as "excellent?" The manager said that's a mistake on their part and he'll give me a brand new one for $569 to make it right. Thank you Best Buy, Gainesville, GA!

My local Best Buy also has an open box Excellent for 569, so now I'm debating if I want to pick that up. They also have a satisfactory R655 for $507, which I may look at as well before getting the Q7. I know with Best Buy "satisfactory" is a huge gamble but I did score a Sony a few years ago that had been the display model and only marked that because the power cord was missing.
If you're buying lower-end TVs, like LED, Mini LED or QLED, then yes, I agree with replacing them every few years. Not if we're talking OLED or QD-OLED. None of these newer non-OLEDs compare with OLEDs that are even 5+ years old. I have no problem keeping my C2 for at least 5 years. My friend's 5-year-old LG C9 still looks far better than any of these TVs.
Amazing that your friend has had a TV for 5 years that only released 4 years ago. Also, all of our TVs are used primarily for gaming. Unless OLED gets rid of burn-in, it's not for us. Please don't bother to deny it happens. We've all been to the punch bowl, but some of us skipped the Kool Aid. Good luck.
It hasn't been that quick. This TV isn't better than say an 8 year old LG OLED. If you see any deals on the LG C2, jump on it. Actually get any LG OLED model, A, B, or C series. You'll never go back to cheap TVs after you switch to OLED.
With the wife and I being gamers, we wouldn't touch an A series with a ten foot pole. 120hz is mandatory. Also, when I say smoking deal, I'm talking about paying $200 for an R646 a few months after release, not $1000 for an old ass B series that's beyond it's half-life.
Just got this deal, for QLED I'm super impressed. Upgraded from a tcl series 5 2020 50" to this q7 65". For qled it's really nice, but just need to understand this isn't oled. The local contrast helps a little, but don't expect ink black. Native 120hz for $700 on a 65" is finally in my price interest and best deal for a 120hz imo if that's of interest to you
If the room is bright, would the 75 inch Q7 suppress the light? I see that the Q7 has the peak brightness at 1,000 Peak Nits and Full Array PRO Local Dimming with Up to 200+ Dimming Zones.
It's missing mini-led for sure but what do you all think about a Q7 in a bright room? Is it bad?

LG C2 for 75 inches is still gonna run you close 2K. This TV is 1K. I have a C2 and trust me it's not worth even a $500 premium. I'm really shocked the 75 inch is coming in at 1k. Was gonna get the QM8 but not worth the extra $700 either.

I wanted to get the qm8 but rtings review hit and its garbage for upscaling - scored a 4. So I decided to get the 85" q7 instead, it's $1500 vs $2200 for the qm8.
Good thing I jumped, it's sold out now on Amazon. I decided against getting it from bestbuy since their return policy can be an uphill battle sometimes.
