I believe for a new line on T-mobile they do a hard pull on your credit too.

If you dont have a tmobile account and you are opening a new tmobile account then they will do a hard pull.
For existing customers there is no hard pull for adding a new line.

It didn't work for my simple choice plan but I get a discount through work. I've heard if you have any kind of discount on your plan best buy will not be able to activate your new phone. I tried twice and the both got canceled. I tried yesterday.

Apparently I use S21 fe for visible. I have trouble getting proper coverage (low bars) in some places and visible says this as an unsupported device :-(

It is still possible, as long as you have less than 5 lines on your plan right now. BestBuy rep must call T-Mobile (through their dealer line) and get them to add a new line to your plan. Some reps know about it, some don't, but their system won't let them add a line if they try temselves..
I have a discount through employer, on a Simple Choice plan and have been adding lines through BestBuy and Costco promos for years..

Ughh, I have simple choice but the Business Plan that wont let me add lines online (does work or used to worked at Costco). Any option to buy this?
