Hmmm, the accidental damage on top makes this a whole lot more tempting considering my poor 65in CX did not survive it's second house move ever (less than 2 minutes away 😑). Nothing is ever "free" though since we've seen this model go sub $1300s new or $1149 refurbished (w/o stand) from Woot! Does anyone know if this CPS Warranty is any good from previous experiences? The reviews for that service on look gamed and fake in Buy Dig and I'm reading mixed reviews outside of it. Not sure how brave I am to pull any trigger the day before Prime Day lol, but this is on my radar.

What am I missing, why is this a td price? Seems decent with the 50 plus the warranty?

That's what I want to know. Amazon has this for the same price minus those perks (not that I think this is a good price without any incentives, of course). Some folks just have beef with Iconian for their reasons too, so there's that.

I think that accidental insurance covers only physicals damaged i.e. let say you dropped the tv during installation, etc. They also offer additional insurance for additional fee that should cover internal problems (bad circuit board, screen malfunction, etc.) . Maybe i am wrong, but if accidental insurance covers accidents and internal defects then why they are offering additional insurance to buy?

I feel like folks these days shouldn't be as concerned with burn in compared to back in the day. I have a 5+ year old C7 still going strong (and survived my move unlike my CX I mentioned 😭) and as long as the content is varied enough and the pixel shift/other settings are enabled, you should never encounter complete burn-in. The technology's only gotten better since that 2017 model.

That being said....I'd hope an ADP would cover something like burn-in. No one intends to burn their screens in after all lol.

so it looks like its Costco with the Allstate warranty vs BuyDig with CPS. Both are about the same for the 55"

I think BuyDig uses CPS a lot so there should be lots of input from older deals or we can wait till someone chimes in here. Accidental damage and burn-in coverage do sound good. I click on the CPS link and nothing comes up

Buydig packages all these items together to be able to sell at their price which allows them to not follow the MSRP rules of the manufacture. I've order from them once in the past and the TV I received was brand new.

Good price. Total was 1620 minus 50 from the VISA card will make it effectively 1570. Was using our 42 inch Phillips I bought from Dell in 2008 as backup after our Vizio just died after 10 years, will be nice to have this LG 65 inch. Apparently the warranty covers kids hitting the TV, hopefully I never have to use but nice to have if true.
