If you're in the market for the top of the line screen, it's either this, or the 42" C2 IMO. Both are $800 right now.

I have the Alienware which uses the same screen. I would have bought this at this price instead though just because this has no fan (silent) and looks better

If you want to plug your console on your monitor, this is better than the Alienware.

But Samsungs warranty is trash and on OLED especially a monitor the warranty is worth it's weight in gold.

Best Buy has it for $999.99 which is 33% off or $856.99 for open box excellent. Might be worth getting it through them with 4 years GeekSquad warranty that covers burn in

This thing has no regular sized ports? So you need an adapter to hookup a normal PC or console?

Definitely recommend a warranty with burn-in protection. Had an AW3423DW suffer from burn in within a month from playing WoW with HDR (Static elements). I didn't realize it at first, but when I moved content over the screen sections it was very apparent. Wasn't noticeable in-game but certainly was on the desktop with grey backgrounds. That was just a quick one-month subscription, I couldn't imagine 3 years of it.

The good thing with the Alienware is that it comes with 3 years of burn-in protection, so I feel safe blasting this thing at full HDR and enjoying it until the last 3 months, then I'll file a warranty claim for burn in as I'm sure it'll happen again with another game with static elements in HDR by then, and then re-sell it or something. With Samsung, it's a year, and may/may not cover burn in, so definitely be aware of that.

Love this monitor! Got it at Best Buy for 1099 and was able to price match it for 999. Its amazing, no burn in issues. You can plug in a controller and do game pass! It's pretty cool! I use with my Mac and PC for gaming! Looks amazing. The menu is kinda of confusing and it can lag a bit. But overall it's excellent. And has sound if you just want to watch something quick

I don't want my monitor having smart features. It connects to things that are smart.

You don't have to setup the wifi.

It comes with a mini-DP to DP cable. You have to buy your own if you want to use a longer cable or the microHDMI port though.

Dumb design decision but meh.
