In my opinion, not particularly since it doesn't actually have a built in Apple Watch charger but instead has a place for you to attach your personal AW cord, which defeats the entire purpose of the simplicity of having an all-in-one solution.

Not compatible with Samsung watches (like all of these types of charging pads from Anker).

True. But to be fair I've never seen a charger that does include an Apple Watch charger built in for this price. It would probably be about the price of an Apple Watch charger more.

Actually it will work with S7 and S8 if you get a USB A>C converter. I've done this with a similar Anker model Smilie

Not entirely, this one handle putting i your own watch charger more convenient by being able to wrap it inside the device. So once you put your charger in, it does become all-in-one. Alot of the stands I've seen at this price don't usually include the watch charger, and even if they do, I wouldn't trust it, and the cheaper ones also do a worse job at managing the cables/charger you have to put in yourself

For the price, it's not bad. I've tried some of the others around this price, and something usually ends up breaking, I would trust Anker to last longer


[EDIT]
Just saw that the "folding flat for portable" becomes much harder/impossible once you actually put in your own watch charger, and may need to remove it, or have it dangling. Also this only charges at max 10W for both Android and iPhone, so it's ideal only for overnight slow charging

Blame the watch manufacturers, they're the ones using proprietary chargers instead of a standard. Until they decide to cooperate, this is the best way for accessory companies like Anker to handle it.

While I completely agree, I've bought a few chargers with built-in Apple Watch chargers and realized some have been really flakey and downright sketchy, overheating the watch overnight. I've found myself more comfortable with bases like this, that use the default cable.
