also got the 12% cash back from PayPal.
unfortunately, i'm not yet seeing the pp cash back. I did reach out to PP asking them to confirm if I should be seeing reward points pending. They opened a ticket to see why those points did not show up and asked me to give it another week.
Drive installed and cloned just fine. hopefully the points will come through - it sounds like it did for others so I am hopeful.
So.. I called WD Support (much more kinder and helpful compared to PP, btw), WD told me that as far as they know it should've gone through, but that only Paypal could issue the cashback/fix it on their end.
I already wasted almost an hour calling back and forth, and I will try PP again tomorrow. PP was very unhelpful the first time around.

There is an email that you can send your receipt to and they will add it. Sent a screenshot and with almost no fuss, they added it, no additional questions asked. Don't know if I'm allowed to post the email here though.
