Get the cheapest powder in boxes (e.g., great value, kroger), mix 1/4-1/2 tsp of citric acid (based on water hardness, the harder the water, the more citric acid you'll need) with 1/4 cup of powder for every load. Saves me tons of money than these pods.

For citric acid, I use the detergent booster from lemishine, one bottle lasts a long way (I have used three boxes of powder and still haven't finished one bottle...). Basically it's just pure citric acid so you can also use that if you can find it.

Cheap detergents don't work well because most people in the US have hard water. The products from P&G work great out of box because they add a lot of water softener to it. If you have a water softening machine for the whole house, and you like pods, just go with the cheapest pod you can find (great value, member's mark, kirkland). If you don't have that in your house, try my recipe (powder + citric acid) above. Citric acid is the most easily accessible water softener from my point of view.
Costco is still cheaper when on sale, right?
I cancel after it arrives. Yeah, paranoid, but I don't trust Amazon — especially with their ongoing games with S&S

Just do S&S on three of the larger quantity for close to the price.

Looks like I got an 80 pack from Sam's a few months ago for $18.

This looks in line with that deal.

Thanks!

Did all this adding and changing and coding...just realized. It's one penny cheaper per pod than I paid on 6/22. For a one time purchase 😂

If you have 5 or more S&S, it is actually cheaper per pack too.

Thanks, OP! Found Finish Quantum 0% 64 ct. on deal of the day and bought 3 @ $13.56 + 2 bottles of Folex at $6.65 each and paid less than $40 for 192 pods and 2 bottles of Folex.

I preferred the sam's club ones when I was using pods... Cheaper and same crap. Now I use Walmart boxed detergent and save a fortune.
