Kiddo & nieces love Lego.
Happened to go into Walmart for other stuff & found out multiple sets on sale, up to 60% off. There was a lot more than this but this is what I got.
I live in San Diego County / 92009 zip code.

Also worth noting the prices & clearance were different at different stores. Two locations had the Aston Martin kit, one was clearance for $22, the other was $39. The mando was $58 online, $68 at the one I bought it at, $60 at another & sold out clearance price for $27 at the third.
I saw a couple stores with the Vader helmet clearance tag but no luck finding one.

Using the scan and go feature will allow you to scan the actual in-store price in the walmart app, the same as you would at the register.
Here's what I do. Every time I think about going to Walmart, I question if it's worth the bother at all. If it's available online and I have a $35 order, I order it. If I have to go in the store, I am not there to "shop", I have a list of things I am there for and accept that the posted prices are pretend play numbers. I especially don't remind the cashier that they forgot to scan one of my items when I see that the other ones cost more than marked. I do not play their little games with standing in line longer for a self-checkout than for a real cashier, or walking around with a smartphone scanning stuff myself. I also take a very bitter and cynical view about the amount of gas and time I could waste trying to find an in-store only Slickdeal or even regularly-priced items. And yes, I regularly cancel items that rang up more than I wanted to pay, which only increases the perceived waste of bothering to go in the first place.
Back when K-Mart was still a thing and I started noticing the manager chillaxing with the assistant while they watched the one line not moving, I took on a habit of leaving my cart in place as I walked out to go to the Walmart across the street. Now that the shoe is on Walmart's foot, I have no compunction against resuming, but we're years past the point where I avoid being in the store with a cart in the first place.
So you will see a lot of sales especially if the store carries too much. The manager has to reduce to the limit. You will find more Clearance on bulky high-dollar items that have not been moved.
For example, you will see more high-dollar Lego (eg. >$60) on sale than the lower dollar (<$20)
Happy Hunting.

the reason why they did that as it seems reselling behavior or just greedy.

I might try other Walmarts and see if they have these, but I don't have an idea of what they look like or a Lego set number.
