Closeout on this model as it has been slightly updated to a new model. These models are the real commercial models not "Commercial technology." These are the same exact models that can also come with coin operated. What makes these commercial is an upgrade on several parts such as the motor. People seem to like these because they are no frills. We already own the washer and love it. These seem to be the ones that Lowe's would have sold and have the 10 year warranty on motor and drum but only 1 year on all else. There are similar models sold in dedicated appliance shops that have a 10 year/5 year but they are twice as much, and the only difference is for the extended warranty. Note: the $649 GAS model below does have the 10/5 warranty. Use a credit card that has automatic extended warranty (like Amex) and get a second full year free.
This unit is Regular priced at $989, now $599 and if you register for a Maytag account you can easily get a code in your email to save an additional 5% (29.95) making it 569.05 + tax delivered. There should be a popup as soon as you visit maytag.com . Don't click it away, register and check your email for the code.
The above includes delivery but sweeten the deal by getting full setup and haul away by using code FREEINSTALLATION for an additional $49 value. You need to first add installation to your order and then it will take it off with this code. There is a similar price on two similar gas models, $50-$100 higher for those.

If the door locks on this model I'll laugh however. That's the biggest annoyance on my newer Maytag washer top loader. It takes like 5 min after spin cycle to open the top door lol.
Also, I signed up for a Maytag acct. How long does it take for the 5% discount email to arrive? I did get an email saying "Account Created Successfully" but no discount code with that.
