Spend the money for the Dremel EZ-LOCK mandrel (or buy the pet nail trimming kit which comes with it).
Even Dremel's cut off wheels break eventually, but the EZ-LOCK wheels are reinforced in the middle so they don't break as often. And when they do, they're much easier to change.
For all the diamond, sanding, and polishing bits, the difference in name brand versus generic is much less of an issue.

I'm specifically talking about the cut off wheels with EZ-Lock, which are still better than any other wheel on the market.
For everything else — including the rotary tool itself — there is zero reason to go with Dremel over any other brand.

The only things I wouldn't cheap out on are the cut off wheels.

So much so that the Black and Decker RTX is often recommended instead of the Dremel.
Hopefully, their accessories haven't suffered the same fate.

You do know the mandrel size is standardized among all rotary tools, right? You don't need to buy a Dremel to use their bits.

32 spindle sanding bands, 60 sandpapers, 80 cut-off wheels, 30 heavy-duty cut-off wheels.

I'd be happy with a discounted assortment subset that had just various cut-off wheels and a couple of spare mandrels. Bonus points if the cut-off wheels didn't shatter every 30 seconds.

I love and hate the ez lock cutoff wheels. I've had issues with the metal at the center of the wheel coming apart so the wheel isn't connected to the hub.
Last time I used them, I had 3-4 in the pack that only could use about 1/4 of the wheel.
Love the wheels, definitely better than alternatives, but seems the old screw on were more reliable. 🤷 ♂️
