These prices are crazy and that's a good thing. I remember having a 240gb 2.5" SSD go bad back in 2015 and I was devastated because I ended up losing like $225+ on that investment. I just bought the 2TB 980 Pro deal they had on here for $99 and I'm pretty sure that come Black Friday, you will see 4TB NVMe's for $129 - $149. Maybe even $99. It's about time. We are going to see 4 - 8TB NVMe as the man storage offerings in 2024 no doubt.

Nah, come Black Friday we will all be complaining about worst BF ever and pointing out that prices were lower a few months back. It's what we do.

I decided to order one of these one time, stupidly not reading details. Assumed it was NVME, not SATA III. Didn't matter though. It was neither. Instead it was DOA!

$1 off the regular price is NOT a Slickdeal.

I bought this exact drive for $22 a few months back. So about 10% off. It's not insignificant, but it's definitely not FP worthy.

make sure your motherboard will support it.

I went from a z170 platform to am5 and i can't use my sata m.2 because it's not compatible with nvme.

So you might need an adapter to use this on newer boards.

Maybe, we could see them creep back up before they get that cheap. Sometimes hardware gets cheap then just goes right back up. If one needed storage now I wouldn't wait.

FYI- Finally one of my TeamGroup M.2 1TB had a overheating issue and died. To get a replacement I had to send it back to them to Taiwan, but they do have a US mailing address to California to ship it to which I had to pay out of pocket cost was around $5 or $6. I don't know if a 512GB with a price tag of $20 is worth the shipping. But the turn around time was pretty convenient, maybe 3 weeks?
