I am using the same one currently. It's unlimited call and text for 3 months and 5 GB data per month for 3 months, so total 15 GB data.

does anyone know how much time to activate we have after purchase. I dont need for another month or two.

So why wouldn't everyone just get a Google Voice number, use that and continuously activate new prepaid accounts? This is crazy cheap at $5/mo.

Because many have linked their mobile numbers to financial accounts and OTP are not sent to google voice by many of them
It is a big deal to change everywhere more often
There may be few people who are less bothered with above problem, but: availability of, participation in such promotions requires some amount of time be spent looking for such opportunities and keeping track of dates
Not saying it is impossible, but if one is prepared for such challenges, definitely best.

I agree. I tried to order this from their website but the order failed, I saw a pending charge on my credit card. They said it will not be confirmed but it was confirmed. When I contacted them today they said they cannot refund as they do not see any account in my name. I am going to file a dispute with my credit card bank, not sure how that will go. How did you get refund for what they charged you incorrectly ?

I had to do chargebacks through my bank for all 3 transactions. Boost would not do anything for me except to tell me to take it up with my bank.

I have been using GV as my main number for 15 yrs and I have done exactly that (even changed carrier number monthly). Unlike others, in my experience, I had little issues with 2FA using GV number.

If you are diligent and on a tight budget, not a bad idea. But sometimes it can get quirky. For me, one of my apps checks the carrier number before I can use.

I have cell phone and home phone on same google voice account on the same phone
I'm using a 12 month sim card on Mint mobile I bought off Febay in march for $50
I have been on Google voice since they started love them
