Are you thinking of this Frontpage deal from last year? This pricing was > 6 months ago.

I'm gonna be honest I ordered some of this stuff because of the raving reviews and expected greatness. I tried to use it to clean kitchen sink since it had a lot of hard water build up, didn't really do much but it smells nice. I ended up using barkeepers friend which worked better and was like $3 at Walmart. From my understanding both products are abrasive and maybe The Pink stuff is suited for easier cleaning jobs.

I did use a little water to make it into a paste and tried it straight without anything else as well. Maybe someone else can provide some insight?

No. I am going from the price chart that is posted. It was $3.89 unless I am reading it wrong.
