These clamps have been so handy for small projects like that.

I've overloaded them trying to push out bearings and bushings before. No damage and they still work great, but not able to apply the force I wanted, which I don't blame on the clamps.
These are really great affordable clamps, that are miles better than the similarly priced Harbor Freight ones. 50% of my Harbor Freight ones slip before I can apply enough pressure to get glue squeeze out when clamping pieces of wood. These Irwin ones have no issue applying enough force.
I am making frames which are 8-15".
