There is a second NVMe M.2 slot for a 2280; however, you'll need to buy a stand-off kit, since it does not come with one. Super cheap on Amazon.
If you have a SATA SSD (the big square one) the laptop comes with a caddy and SATA adapter cable for that, too.
Also, my purchase didn't come with the caddy or SATA cable, so that's unfortunate, since I have an extra SATA HDD laying around that could have been used.
I've mostly seen the brand new model for $601. It appears periodically throughout the day and then disappears quickly.
I've also seen open box excellent condition twice. Once this past Saturday morning for about $360 (unfortunately I got greedy and missed it because tried to log into my Chase credit card account first to get an extra 1% cashback). I saw it again last night around midnight PST for $406 and grabbed it (they raised the price on the open box models a bit over the weekend, but still a great deal).
I haven't noticed any pattern to the time of day. My guess is that that these are the display models and left overs from remote locations which weren't previously listed online sporadically being taken out of circulation and liquidated online as the brick and mortar stores clear out space for new inventory during the back-to-school sale season.

A couple of the individual components are for sale on Ebay, but they are incomplete and pricey ($35). Lenovo sells the parts for $60, which is absolutely highway robbery. It probably costs them a couple of dollars to make, at most.
If you're willing to sell your kit to me, please message me.
Thanks in advance!
