Used the Educ discount on a few accounts with different email providers, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail.

Trade in is handled by third party Assurant and not Samsung. If they lie about condition of your phone, call samsung(not assurant) and tell them you have proof of pic and video of your phone in good condition.
reset your phone to factory, go through start up, type in *#0*# in the dial keypad and take pic of display test(red, green, blue)

It shows 599.99 now after all the discounts. Trading in my S22 Ultra, I hope it's not a mistake. Came out to like like 788 after Cali tax. With the 12% cash back. Brings it down to about 710.00 or so. Still a lot. Will contemplate this before it ships.
