Never verified an Educ ID, or asked to.
Used the Educ discount on a few accounts with different email providers, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail.
Sometimes the Educ discount will not appear but it appeared after adding a phone to the cart, like the Flip 5 this time, and others in the past.
Sometimes there'll be a drop down with boxes to check the appropriate discount, Educ, Military, etc., but most times the Educ discount will appear.

It looks not as much as a glitch but as something intentional for the order/sale to go through. - If your birthday is in August and you had it saved in your Samsung profile, you should have gotten or will get an e-mail with an extra $25 off discount which can stack with the above codes

Did the reverse and it did, Watch + Reserve code, then phone +Unique code.
It helps if you add the second code in the Cart page, not the Checkout page.
This thing is often trial + error.

If unsure, I would reach out to Samsung customer care and submit those images to them to see what they tell you in regards. Document everything so as to cover yourself just in case.
I contacted Samsung customer service, and they told me by looking at the pictures, that everything should be good, it will qualify for full credit.
Should receive tomorrow phone and will trade in as soon as possible. Will save conversation and in case, will submit if phone do not qualify.

Received a text right now with a tracking # that the order was shipped for the order that was delivered earlier today, Monday.
Check at UPS by reference using the order # to track order.
You'll see this:

Estimated delivery: Today, August 08 by 7:00 P.M.
Using that I can see there are 2 more orders to be delivered tomorrow Tuesday BUT nothing from Samsung yet, it still shows in process.
There'll be a text that the orders were shipped, AFTER they are actually delivered, just like today.
One of the orders was to ship September 1st, but was delivered today.
