TeamGroup[amazon.com] via Amazon just had a recent price drop on the MP34s. Both of these prices beat previous FP deals.
1TB for $40
2TB for $74
These are Gen3, SLC w. DRAM. I bought a 1 TB about month ago and it's treated me well.

The problem is the mp34 uses different chipsets and memory from different manufacturers. This creates many variations under the same name. I had to peel the sticker off mine to check. You don't know which batch you'll get, so the reviews can't fully help in deterimimg the performance.

What controller did you end up getting? I'm curious if its still possible to get one with the original Phison...or if they're all SMI / Realtek now.
