Anecdotal but I'd be remiss if I didn't say how insanely disappointed and disgusted I am with SoFi…
My credit score went from 818 to 690 after I had my very first "delinquent account"
The automatic payment posted, but never went through and the banks (Wells Fargo and Chase) notified me that SoFi had cancelled my payments without reason. It took 4 manual attempts after the failed automatic payment for SoFi to finally work.
My credit score plummeted despite over $100,000 in the account because of a $1,100 credit card balance that SoFi messed up…

I will say that the whole account opening and funding process was very modern and slick. From clicking Open Account to finished with an initial deposit (automatically linked from PNC) took less than 5 minutes.
I opened today and it says my funds will be available by 04/26.
I like Raisin for the same reason. Simple account setup and funding plus rates are better.

Is the interest rate (5.05%) indefinitely on the money that is in the savings account?
Indefinitely? or is the 5.05% internet rate only valid for like 1 year or something, and then after one year there will be a new rate based on the future market conditions?
