Nah. That's double the price for no real benefit for our use cases. Does it even include cellular? That was a requirement as it's for a kid who doesn't have an iPhone.
Do you have to have another plan with TMobile to get this $5/month plan? I won't leave Mint Mobile for my cell phone but would like just a cheap plan for a watch.
Anyone can share experiences on using this as a kids watch (no iPhone)?
Edit: It appears the only difference is the band, some faces exclusive to the Nike model, and a running app. If you don't care about the faces or the app, remember the swoosh on the band makes you 5% faster.

I have an Apple Watch 7 and I can choose a bunch of Nike faces from my settings.

Anyone can share experiences on using this as a kids watch (no iPhone)?
I bought one of the 1st Gen Apple watch and was able to register and setup the watch on truphone in less than 30 minutes. Really simple and easy to adjust settings on my iphone. The service is decent for my kid to text and call. We are based in CA and will be travelling to NY in a week. Expecting the same service in NY.
