You can add up to 64 GB of ram and a total of 2 nvme drives. The screen is decent, but very glossy. A matte screen protector fixed this for me.
A major downside is that it only charges by USB-C if the laptop is completely turned off; it will not charge even if sleeping. Third-party 200 W power supplies with a barrel connection seem to work.
For the price, it's pretty powerful, but you will have to carry around a power supply due to lack of USB-C charging, and it is a bit heavy.
13900H is a respectful upgrade from 12900H. 4060 is quieter and cooler for the same performance.
My order of this envy will arrive tomorrow. I'll post the experience of them both. On paper, this probably is better.

I have the zephyrus m16 you referred to. The 3070ti in m16 has literally exactly the same performance as this 4060, timespy@10500. The bad thing for the M16 is that it runs so darn hot that it burns my finger which makes it next to impossible to game normally.

This is a i9 13900h laptop, which probably can push to 50 to 75w. Heavy…it is

Also, I bought it on the last deal at $1100 brand new. I decided to return it for this open-box deal and ended up scoring an unopened unit. Hard to complain at ~$850 for the specs and build quality.
If you check the last thread when it was $1100, plenty of people have confirmed this. They even tried a USB-C to barrel adapter, and it won't charge. I've tried a 100W USB-C charger, as well as a Thunderbolt docking station that normally charges laptops; nothing worked unless the laptop was completely powered down. It was a huge downside, especially because an official HP account stated that it did charge by USB-C on the Best Buy website.
My over 5 year old ThinkPad would charge by either a 230 W power brick or USB-C of at least 65 W to at least prolong battery life. No USB-C charging in 2023 is a pretty bad design. I like to travel with one power supply that charges all my devices. The laptop is fast for the price, so it depends on your use and preference. I decided to keep mine as I already ordered a ram upgrade at the same time.
I wish more manufacturers would put in screens like this!
