A few different ways.
  1. Buy both, have them delivered, and then literally go to the store and return the batteries. The receipt will be itemized so you should have no trouble doing this.
  2. Buy both but have them sent to different stores for pickup. Don't pick up the batteries. HD will eventually cancel that order and refund you.
  3. Buy both and have them sent to the same store for pickup. At pickup, tell the associates you don't want the batteries and they should be able to either cancel or do an immediate return.
Edit to add: supposedly you can also just cancel part of the order right after checking out, but I've never been able to do this. Might just be for pro accounts.

Nice! The brushed version was around $57 last time with the blades too (plus hack). Brushless reviews were way better

I'm not sure you can split the orders anymore. I did it in the last and was able to cancel one part or have one delivered and set one for pickup, but the last two times I tried they bundled them together in the online cart so you couldn't do that. You can still return what you want to a store of course, no questions asked.

Anyone have this particular model of saw? I had an older version and thought it was nice and powerful. It had a major flaw though, which was a plastic piece that held the blade in place. Mine worked great until I snapped a blade and it took out that one tiny piece and rendered the saw useless. I'd buy another one but I need to know that this piece is metal or the attachment system has been reworked. I'm all in on Ryobi tools but I'll buy another brand of jigsaw if this hasn't changed.

Maybe take a look at old slickdeals threads... I remember one of them discussing how the brushless was superior not because it was brushless but because it solved some problem that the brushed one had. I don't recall the specific issue but it might be the attachment system you're thinking of? Sorry, that's probably not the most helpful answer but I'm still waiting for mine to get here lol

This one keeps popping up, just a heads up if it says join the wait list for it, do it. Typically once a week they re stock it at like 4am. I got a notification at 4:30 am woke up around 8am order it no issue. I waited about 4 days for it to pop up in my email.

That's correct. On the right side there is an area that you click on to select your "free gift with purchase" with a chevron pointing to the right. Click it and select the 2 batteries option. I just clicked on that link and confirmed it's still there/works. Once you find it, please remove your link in the previous post as others may use and get charged more than they need to be.

Can this be plugged in to be used without the battery? Hate having all this rechargeable shit. I have Ryobi brand lawn tools that have the battery or plug option.

No very few tools are hybrid, both plug in and battery. I have a Ryobi light that is plug in 120v, and battery 18v. Don't know too many Ryobi tools like that. Other companies have some but they are usually with bigger tools like table saws, miter saws, circular saw. Hi power draw tools. A jigsaw on 18 volts can do anything a corded jigsaw can do, plus since its not high draw it doesn't eat through batteries.

Grabbed on, Thanks OP.
Ryobi best Hacks right now seem to be the tools plus a couple extra blades. The tool alone Hacks are not as good.

My router stopped working with the 4ah battery still a quarter full. All I did was circular saw cut 4 edges and routed 7. These tools need so much juice. I needed a jigsaw too so I ordered one of these instead of rechargeable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...0DER&psc=1
