Just plug in the tester into an outlet and make sure the beeper is switched on. Then, when you flip the corresponding circuit breaker for that outlet, the beeper will turn on or off, letting you know that you found the right breaker. Your vac won't be able to tell if your outlet is wired correctly, nor be able to test the GFCI.
#1 happens when you go to checkout at Amazon, and see "Previously purchased on....."
