Going outside is expensive af nowadays. People are asking for tips everywhere. Whoever invented the tip culture should be hanged. All companies don't pay enough to their employees and expecting customers to pay for it. Playing games is the cheapest option Frown

Oh i meant more like playing outside, picking up an instrument (wished I had done that back when I was a kid), going to the library, reading a book, learn to draw, visit museums, learn a language. There are tons of things available for free.

Heck I mowed my lawn, then I went and did my 90 year old neighbor's too cause the heat is too much for him. It's just little things like that

ZIP takes a $6 service charge so the real discount is only $19, plus ZIP runs a credit check which is not ideal. I'd rather pay $450 and not jump through the hoops.

GPU values have tanked. Even the newest stuff has gone down relative to release prices.

As far as these go, who doesn't have one of these by now that's wanted one?

The market is finally saturated, we'll see more prices drops. The tech is 3 years old and manufacturing prices go down on tech over time. People are buying their 2nd and 3rd series x and PS5 by now.
Whose on their 2nd or 3rd? We're likely sitting in the 40 millions by now, but we're certainly not at generational saturation. The Switch hasn't seen a single price drop 6 years and nearly 130 million units in.

We may see an actual price drop here (this is pretty close to one) but we'll also see increased interest as we start rolling into more true current gen exclusives like Spiderman 2. This has been an awkward gen where nearly 3 years in we are just starting to get a lot of big games that aren't playable on last gen hardware.

Well, been waiting for years for one in stock now that they are in stock they want to make it cheaper. I don't even want one now at this point. Going to wait for the PS6.

Getting my first dog was absolutely one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only does his infectious smile make me feel warm and fuzzy inside every time I see it, but he is quite energetic and requires lots of exercise so I'm sorta obligated to go to the park quite often and I'm honestly thankful for the peace and tranquility of going to the park in the middle of the day. I also go hiking almost every weekend and am going camping soon as well. All thanks for my little bugger. Most people that do have dogs shouldn't just to be clear, but sharing a life with another living being that depends on you, is quite nice!

Stop making sensible comments, people need a reason justify their purchases and you are being a buzzkill.

Ps: I was being sarcastic, obviously lot of free things to do and enjoy.Air/Water comes bundle in for now.

Not bad, at this point I'll wait for a redesign but I don't think one will come as soon as places are predicting. Every time I see a PS5 at a friend's house it is just so comically large haha.
large?

Not a lot of kid games IMO for PS5 as it seems to be catering to more mature gamers and AAA titles. A Switch or PS4 may be a better console since there would be a much bigger library of kid friendly games and less expensive prices.

Tipping is optional though. Just don't tip. Companies are using your fear of feeling like a jerk against you. So remember choosing not to tip for what it really is: not that you're being a disrespectful twat but rather that it's the companies who choose to try to sell a service job on its tips.

If everyone stops tipping, watch the companies decide between changing and imploding. Especially post-COVID, now that many restaurants have a hard time finding sufficient staffing. It sucks that change has to come at the expense of the workers, but this problem only gets worse if it doesn't get better.

Honestly hoping people start spending more time outside or find other hobbies. Nothing against gaming (my #1 hobby), but some of my friend's kids rarely leave their house. Either glued to phone or glued to pc/console
Fuk outta here

Any word on the slim? All of these sales makes me think it'll be announced any day now. I've been ready to pick up a PS5, but the fact this version may as well be a piece of furniture has kept me waiting for the smaller form factor.
