i pity those who buy this in 100-count boxes.

that's even accounting for the possibility that some may prefer yorkshire red over yorkshire gold.

I think so - it's quite hearty; perhaps like a strong English Breakfast. I drank it daily until plagued by heartburn; when I stopped, the heartburn went away.

It's supposed to be the cheap tea. But it's just fine for every morning. Tea isn't for everyone. My stomach can handle black tea, but not green tea.

I love it, cheap or no, and drank it every morning also. But now that I only have it once in a while, I'm ok.

I like how the label says "Proper Black Tea", it sounds like a British person being stuck up on the packaging!

I drink this with Hyperchiller to make iced tea (2 bags) and add a little bit of Taroni cane sugar. 👍

I'm a tea snob and I still enjoy this. The key is don't just let it sit in the hot water til infinity. Take it out after 2-5 minutes.

The gold label of this brand is disgustingly bitter, so I don't have hopes for the red label which is allegedly lower quality

Tea was drank because it was fashionable and water was not clean.
