Dirac Live for loud speakers & Dirac Live Bass Control(DLBC) for subwoofers.
Dirac Live is divided in two offerings:
Limited Bandwidth(20Hz-500Hz) for $259
Full Bandwidth for $349(or $99 more from Limited).
Dirac Live Bass Control(DLBC) is also divided in two offerings:
DLBC-Single Subwoofer for $349
DLBC-Multi Subwoofer for $499(or $169 more from single)
Many Dirac equipped brands are also have multiple memory slots for calibration results as well as preset curves...such as the Harman curve for brands owned by Harman International
However...his comparisons , according to his statement, were with room corrected enacted.
In a nutshell you are adding almost $1000 to the cost of a Denon/Marantz product for the full suite of Dirac
As I said before..if you want Dirac in the mid tier products there are better options

If you want the "full suite"(DL & DLBC) of Dirac now you would have to go with the new Onkyo/Pioneer which starts at $2799 BUT you still have to purchase DLBC for $500 on top of that.
Come next year the 3800 will give you the "full suite" of Dirac.
$999(3800) + $349(DL)+$500(DLBC)+$100(Mic),nothing will come close to that.
The room correction system may be more to your liking.

You are talking full MSRP of the Onkyo/Pioneer units....street price I can guarantee will be less than MSRP, such as the X3800 is now
We also dont know how the amp/power supply sections of those units will test...if I were a betting man I would say they will outbench the X3800
So a little bit of apples and oranges there mixed in with several unknowns.

To my ears, Dirac is a much better sounding room correction system than Audyssey
So good in fact, that I went out and bought a 2nd Dirac equipped unit
First Dirac equipped unit replaced a Marantz pre/pro and the 2nd replaced a Denon receiver
You're human (I assume), therefore there is confirmation bias.
These mainstream AVR's sound identical with all controls set flat.
You said you did the blind testing video? Link?
