As others have noted brightness and refresh rate of 60hz vs 120hz. For the average tv viewer, probably not noticable however depending on your sensitivity you may notice a judder effect on 24fps sources. This article explains it best but here is the base explanation:
"A 60Hz TV has trouble removing 24 fps judder because 60 isn't a multiple of 24. To display this type of content, a technique known as a "3:2 pulldown" is used. Basically, 12 of the 24 frames repeat three times, while the other 12 repeat twice, totaling 60 frames. Not everybody notices this, but it causes some scenes, notably panning shots, to appear juddery. However, 120Hz TVs have an advantage here because they can simply display each frame five times since 120 is a multiple of 24."
It also notes that some sources, such as Chromecast, will only output 60fps, so something else to keep in mind if you want to take full advantage of 120hz.

*Edit* thanks dealbabydeal for pointing this out:
From RTINGS: "The LG A2 can remove judder from 24p sources, and you just need to enable Real Cinema."
Edit2 - even more useful info here. If I'm understanding correctly a 24fps source played through a device that supports frame rate matching at 24fps will eliminate judder. If it forces output at 60 you will still get judder https://slickdeals.net/f/16863020-lg-77-class-oled-a2-series-4k-uhd-oled-tv-1499?p=16532300
Then I bought a 42" C2 for my computer and oh. My. God.
So pretty.

Even mid-range GPUs can exceed 60fps without having to "tweak all the settings down"
You can exceed 60fps in 4k in lots of games, at very high or better settings, with even a 4070 on Nvidias side or a 6800XT on the AMD side... (and even some previous-gen cards in some titles like a 3070ti)
Once you do it's jarringly annoying to go backward. Again you often can work around this issue entirely if you can be very selective about your sources-- but not everyone can do that (because they're tied to one or more specific set-top sources due to cable/sat/a specific streaming device, etc)

Edit - seems we both were wrong depending on the scenario:

Judder won't happen from source that will frame rate match, will if it doesn't. This will not happen on a 120hz panel though:

Sure.
That's not the issue.
The issue is it can't remove them from 60p and 60i sources.
Which is what many (but not all) set top boxes provide, with no option otherwise.
Specifically look at this section of rtings review:
Judder-Free 24p Yes
Judder-Free 24p via 60p No
Judder-Free 24p via 60i No
In contrast here's the same items on the 120Hz B2
Judder-Free 24p Yes
Judder-Free 24p via 60p Yes
Judder-Free 24p via 60i Yes
Those last 2 of the 3 items are where the A2 falls down on judder compared to a 120hz display.
If you ONLY plan to feed 24p sources from 24p native output (certain specific streaming boxes, but NOT all of them) or the built-in apps, this is not an issue for you.
If you expect to feed 60p sources from set up boxes you can't set to 24p output then it IS an issue on the A2.
Moving up from
2012 65" Panasonic VT50 Plasma
2017 65" Vizio P65C1
The Plasma will be replaced. Vizio will stay as it's 4K and good for the bright room where it currently is.

how so?
LED IPS/VA TV have been $400 since 2014. My 2014 $400 Sharp 65 inch works amazing 4-8 hrs a day, zero burn in, zero dead pixels, the kicker is it was a floor model.
I doubt OLED has that kind of longevity
