I bought two pair of these thinking they might be helpful. Was I ever wrong, these things are tiny! The blades themselves we're so small I didn't even bother to try them out. In addition they didn't even fit in my hands. Now granted, I have large hands, but I can't see anyone besides a person with very small hands using these. In addition I don't know how you're going to get any leverage to cut even a small stem. I immediately returned them the next day.
