    Winter is late to hold out for a deal. When summer is ending, people are going back to school/vacation and the weather starts to get colder. Units then just start to pile up in stores so they start discounting, then putting them on clearance to make space for the Fall and Holiday shopping (they need space). These things take up so much space and they want those shelves for Fall and Winter products. I wouldn't wait later than October to pick one up.

    Picked one up. Don't need it but my gas generator can't run my central ac unit and being in Texas with no ac could be deadly. If I have a power outage I have 2 small window units I can run off my generator to keep me until I can get the ac fixed.

    In Florida we have these things called "generators". If you've been here longer than a minute, you probably have one, or access to one.

    BTW...generators produce "electricity" Smilie
