They're completely normal sized for a bookshelf speaker. Are you going to make a crack that tower speakers are super tiny because they're not 30 stories tall?
How are these compared to the BR03s? I've seen those recommended a lot, but wondering how the BR02s are in comparison. They would fit my space better.
Different sound signature from the Bro3's. the 3's are great for acoustic and Jazz types of music. The 3's are a tilted on the hot side with treble and can get a edgy sounding (a bit too much for my taste). The 2's are an all day musical experience. They are are more mid range focused and softer on the top end with a mid bass boost. I always prefered the 2's over the 3's but they are smaller. Great for desktop or small room applications. The 3's are big bookshelves but have their own spectacle. I just purchased a second pair of 2's within a two year span but they're mt cup of tea.. Been waiting for them to hit $199 again. Definite buy at that price.

These used to cost 300. I wonder if some of the parts inside like crossover or drivers have been changed to reflect the current price.
Believe they're the same. They just need to get rid of inventory time from time (and this basically represents the price over in Europe for the most part). We just have I huge upcharge in price in the States for the fact that they are imports, like most other speaker manufacturers from the region.
Dumb question, but can I plug a record player into these and get them to work or do I need an amp to plug the record player into and then plug the speakers into the amp ? Thank you
You need an amp. These are not powered BT speakers. They have a version of these in powered BT form but they retail at $700 I believe. These are great for price though. Add a cheap but good Chinese amp and you'd be set. You would also need a phono preamp if your turntable doesn't have one built in. Look no further for a small room application. Not for big rooms though. Awesome little bookshelf

I appreciate the polite response lol... Thank you.... Can you recommend a cheap amp then they would work for these that you would approve of?? Thanks again !!!
I wonder how these sound for my taste. I don't have a large room, so one review here isn't sounding great, a little iffy, because they would be in a small room or a shuttle bus.
I worked for a company that sold speakers and liked the Energy CB-10s because of the bass and sound quality. I'd love to get a set of those. Great for music. I'd like to find something similar. I almost want to cut my speakers down just to save from selling them for almost nothing. I have some Mirage Omni Polar floor standing speakers I could let go of, but the sound would be great for a bookshelf style. I already have some DefTech BP-6 and BP-7006 powered speakers, so I don't need any other floor standing speakers in my small bedroom, because I can't fit those already.
If you know you like the CB-10's why not just buy some on eBay?
It will probably be cheaper also.
As you can see your gonna get opposing opinions.
Why not just go with what you already know sounds good to you based on the most accurate why to know, listening for yourself.

I have a set of Pioneer Andrew Jones SP-FS52 and SP-22A add on speakers.
These were great in my old home, but after moving, the layout of the home doesn't work for wiring this setup.
If I add these to the Pioneer VSX 830 can I expect some decently comparable sound?
