Chase is once again offering five free night certificates that can be used on properties costing up to 50,000 points per night when you spend $5,000 within the first three months of account opening on the Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card.

They ran this promo back in May and I missed the offer. I believe this is the one of the best, if not the best bonus offer for this specific card.

They expire 12 months from the time you get the free nights. I got them in my account from last bonus on 8/4/23 and they expire 8/4/24
recommend looking places you want to go first, then decide if the card is right for you.

It's hard to get a room at a decent property domestically for 50k. Handful of real options.
wow.. how many points do you guys have to think that 50K night certificates are hard to redeem... Five 50K certificates is hands down better than 100K points... I'm having a hard time figuring out why 100K pts would be better unless you ONLY stay at Ritz Carltons or All Inclusives for 1 night.

A typical free night certificate from most credit cards is only 35K pts/night. 50K/night certificates, and they give you five is pretty amazing...

Marriott has 30 brands. As someone who has spent over 100 nights in hotels (of all different brands) for the last 20 years, I will say that I do not agree with this statement. Also, the vast majority of Marriott brand hotels are not advertised as 5-star hotels so your statement is completely inaccurate. Additionally, I started staying at Marriott brands exclusively late last year after Choice hotel pricing went higher across the Board. I often get great rooms from Marriott for much less than Choice Brands. I am also much more pleased with the perks and benefits from Marriott.

You don't know what you're talking about. How about you try traveling outside the country. I don't travel inside the U.S. boring. I travel internationally only, and they are advertised as 5-stars and priced at more than double if not triple real 5-star hotels, luring uninformed Americans with a recognizable name. What a joke.

Provide a few countries and examples, from what i see they are correctly marked as 3/4 start in asian countries.

Marriot being 3-start hotel at over $290+ a night? lol no. Please go to map.google.com and check the ratings. Singapore is a great start. Then make your way to Colombia a fantastic example is Marriot any of them, to Hotel Spiwak in Colombia. I rest my case. Marriot is a 5-star hotel, and charges like a 5-star hotel. $300/night vs a real 5-star at $100/night lol insane.

This deal is great if you're traveling international. There's limited options domestic. Last year my wife and I both got the card and ended up staying 10 nights at very nice hotels across Japan this year.

Marriot sucks. The only thing this card is good for is to transfer the points elsewhere. Why people stay at the Marriot is beyond me. Charge the price of a 5-star hotel, and are only a 2-star hotel at best. I don't know of a single Marriot that would meet my definition of a 5-star hotel.
Oh FFS, let's be realistic here. You've apparently never heard of JW Marriott hotels, nor Ritz-Carlton or even Autograph. While Marriott has slipped a bit in the last few years, to say that all their properties are crap is ludicrous. JWs are amazing -- the one in Bucharest is stunning.

I guess I'll call Chase to see if I can convert my current Marriott Rewards card (I still have old branding!) to this one. Not sure they'll let me, but it would be nice as the 5 nights could be useful for visiting our daughter in college. I'm Lifetime Platinum so the staus is useless (Silver is pointless; $35k spending for Gold is not worth it, either), but even one free night at $95 is worth it since hotels are routinely $150+ these days.

Will I qualify if I have any of the AMEX BONVOY cards?
I don't think so. I cancelled my AmEx Bonvoy last November and still got the message that I would be ineligible for the sign-up bonus due to my AmEx card when I tried to apply.

You'd think if you were such an expert on the topic, you'd be able to at least spell the brand name correctly. LMAO

Come on… when you search Marriott those hotels come up… they are not real 5-star hotels, but charge you like a 5 star hotel. Have you seen their breakfast? What a joke.

I am an expert on 5-star hotels. Marriott isn't one of them, hence the spelling issue. Not even in my vocabulary, why would I need to search for 3-star hotels? Catch my drift?

I want this but I'm at 6/24 :/. Is the 5 free nights an offer that has showed up before? Maybe I can get it next time around.

How do I setup a referral so someone else can get 5 nights and I get some bonus points?
Seemingly you can't. When I use my SO's link, the offer is only for 3 free nights/150k. So I just signed up with the regular link instead of using her referral link which would only net us 150k + 40k for the referral.

Great deal imo. After holding onto this card for a year, you can upgrade it to the ritz carlton card.

I've seen it pop up a couple times in the past, so definitely possible it can come around again sometime next year, but nothings guaranteed with these things.

How do I know? Do I have to check my credit reports? I did get an email from Capitol One that said there was, "a recent change in your Experian credit report." So I guess at least Experian.
