I'm considering getting the C2 but have a few questions. We only watch Netflix (standards) and YouTube TV for sports.
Should I bother upgrading or stick with my current tcl 4k tv. Any advice would be appreciated.
I also don't want to upgrade to a 4k Netflix plan so would the C2 give me better/detailed pictures with the standard plan?
Once you go OLED you never go back, the black levels and more vibrant colors make it a better viewing experience. For Netflix you could use the standard, whatever you watch now will look better on the C2. I'd recommend skipping going out to eat one night and using that to pay for Premium for one month to see if 4k is worth paying a few extra bucks a month for.

Lmao. You're telling me I'm not allowed to screen record my own phone screen? I did it for proof so this could be used if I needed it to be which was smart on my end. Idk if you're trolling or what. They have a referal ID provided to chat supervisors that allowed them to pull up my entire chat conversation with josh. So if Best Buy is able to keep record of what I'm saying on there, I'm allowed to do what I want with my own phone. It's about holding people/businesses accountable. Not about being denied. I've come to terms I'm not getting the tv for a cheaper price. But now I wanna cause as much damage as I can on my way down and post all over their social media every post they make
LMAO This salty mfer really can't get over the fact that Best Buy workers don't want to put up with his crap.

I'm allowed to get sour when it was approved for thousands of others buying 5-10 tvs yet my 1 tv gets denied. I don't care if your agent made a mistake. That's like walking into a store and someone marked chicken breast $1 a pound by mistake on the tag. When they meant to put it on sale for $3 per lb. Your employee made the mistake, but I'm still walking out with $1 per lb chicken breast. They have a right to deny it after it was approved just as I have the right to shame them on socials
Dude just give it up already, u been crying for days about this smh.

Obviously if you can score a C2 for a crazy price its worth it, but *in general* the C2 runs hundreds of dollars more than the A2 and your use cases sound like it's not worth the price discrepancy.

I'd keep an eye out for A2 deals while enjoying your TCL in the meanwhile

Yeah, gotta hate LG. I am still crunching on 1080P TVs because 2 of my LG bought in 2006 55" 3D and 2007 60" refuse to die.

Which TCL TV you have. I have 65 R655 and got this deal. First, adjustment was the size. Wife said when are you going to put my big screen back.

First, very impressed with the sound of speakers. Wow. Second, the picture quality is a little better. Brightness is a non issue for me. 8-10 away. I get bright. My SDR is set at 50 and HDR 75. Now that I have seen Oled in my space. Honestly, I can live the R655. So, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I will never get an OLED at th price again. Just my 2 cents. Everyone mileage varies.

So long story but I'll try to keep it short:

So unfortunately for me I was in the refund camp also. I was quoted the exact amount I would be refunded which was $787.02. 48 hours later and no email so I checked it again and they confirm the refund was pending. 24 hours later and still no email.

So I decided to take a chance and go to the store that had my pick up. I told them the situation and showed them the chat transcript and price from Sunday. I also showed someone else's receipt showing that they were able to purchase. I asked if they could cancel my order and just let me purchase in store for the price match price. CSR said yes however she needed approval. Manager came and initially could not do it but then somehow after seeing all my documentation, he said he figured out a workaround and sold me the TV for 425.

This was pure luck, just being polite and courteous and not pushing the matter. Thanks to all that helped and for the receipt!

Huge thanks to user "americanesku" for the receipt. Repped +4 and reps to OP!

Does anyone have experience with price matching at a Costco that doesn't have the tv discounted? I'd like to try. Would i need a copy of receipt from another store?

For those that picked their 55's up from BB, was there protective film on the screen? I was able to score one and it didn't have protective film on the screen and I'm wondering if it was opened before.
