Dang. It's always Costco with deals.
*Cries in sams club membership*

Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

Ordered a 55" in Buda, TX. Total came out to $350.10. Fingers crossed it actually gets delivered.

Why is it ridiculous if someone wants to flip theirs? Or you rather someone looking to buy one pay full retail price at the store. If you got one at $400 u saying if someone offer u $1000 u wouldn't sell it smh
Pretty sure more than user explained this to you some 100s of comments ago buddy

For those that picked their 55's up from BB, was there protective film on the screen? I was able to score one and it didn't have protective film on the screen and I'm wondering if it was opened before.
As did mine. If yours does not, I wouldn't worry too much about it, as long as the white protective cover (don't know what material it is) and everything seems factory sealed. I would, however, turn it on and check to make sure. You have 14 days to decide whether you still want to keep it.

I did the pm at bestbuy Sunday and picked up immediately Monday morning. I don't know how some got it for $400. I paid $512.97 for the 55". If it's any consolation to anyone who missed out, I don't think imo that it's the "best" tv. It's good for HDR, SDR is too dim for me. I'm positive a slick deal will come out for a better tv 👍
When I first saw the deal late Saturday night (link to sameday at the Kyle, TX store), it was $412.97 before the $100 bonus. A few people had gotten PM's for that price. Came Sunday morning when I was able to PM mine, that $412.97 was gone. I did pay $512.97 for mine (w/out the $100 bonus).

Has anyone who got the TV from BestBuy added the warranty after purchase? I don't see any option for that in my order details. According to their site it should be possible:

Can I still buy Geek Squad Protection after I've purchased my product? [bestbuy.com]

Yes, you have 60 days after your purchase to add Geek Squad Protection, including standard Geek Squad Protection Plans, Plans with Accidental Damage from Handling, and Product Replacement Plans. You may add the applicable Plan on your Purchase History page. To add a Plan with Accidental Damage from Handling or a Product Replacement Plan, you'll need to bring your item into a Best Buy store.
I could not do this online in my account - it wasn't showing up like it typically would. Probably because of the way it's processed and purchased (via that invoice link they sent you to pay).

Today, I went down to Best Buy to add it and they were able to do it no problem. So you'll likely have to go in store...I didn't try chat, but maybe you could do it from there.

Paid $119+tax for the 5 year protection plan thanks to the lower price.

Edit: attached pic showing it linked in my account now.

Killer! The price it's showing for the TV, was that from a price adjustment or did it display that way on their website?

It was from getting a chat agent to do a price match of the Costco instacart site.

LMAO This salty mfer really can't get over the fact that Best Buy workers don't want to put up with his crap.
Don't care what they do or don't want to put up with. Many things I don't want to put up with in my job, yet I have to. So they can put up with their fk up. 😂

Make sure to turn off ECO power settings, they're set to "on" by default and can make the tv seem really dim
first thing I did and it was still horrible with my switch. I went into service settings and removed TPC and GSR. Thank you for the tip!
